This policy explains what personal data AestheticX collects, why, who we share it with and how you can control it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

2. What we collect
- Details you give us: name, mobile number, email address, delivery and billing address, and order details (products, amounts, order history).
- Account details: if you create an account, your login details and saved addresses.
- Unfinished checkouts: if you start checkout but do not complete payment, the details you typed (such as email, phone and cart) may be saved so we can help you complete the order.
- Messages: what you send us by email or through the contact form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the site working.
Payment details: payments are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password.
3. Why we use it
- To process, ship and deliver your orders and take payment.
- To send order updates and tracking details by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To answer your questions and handle replacements, refunds and complaints.
- To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We send promotional messages only if you have agreed to them, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each party needs:
- Razorpay: to process payments and refunds.
- Courier and supplier / fulfilment partners: your name, address and phone number, to pack and deliver your order.
- Hostinger: our business email provider, for emails you send us and our replies.
- Our website hosting provider: which stores the website and its data.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities: only when the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India, in line with applicable law.
5. Cookies
We use only essential cookies, which keep your cart, checkout, login and wishlist working. We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first. You can delete cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout may not work without them.
6. How long we keep it
- Orders and invoices: for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years).
- Account details: while your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Unfinished checkout details and messages: until they are no longer needed, or until you ask us to delete them.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you;
- correct or update it;
- delete it (except what we must keep by law, such as invoices);
- withdraw consent you have given, for example to promotional messages;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Email support@aestheticx.in from the email address linked to your orders. We reply within one month.
8. Security
The website uses HTTPS, and access to customer data is limited to people who need it to run the store. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform you and the authorities of a breach as the law requires.
9. Children
Our store is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please order with a parent or guardian.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version.
